LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW

We are burried in snow! This is the biggest snow fall in VA since 1932 and we are loving it. Our neighbor measured the snow on their deck at 28 inches WITHOUT drifts. This picture was taken before the snow stopped the next morning at 6 a.m. I guess we will have a white Christmas after all.

National book Festival

We took the kids to the national book festival this weekend. They had such a great time seeing all their favorite characters, making projects and of course getting lots of free books.

Abby and Emma both Love their new schools. Abby's bus comes early and she is always awake before I come in at 6:30. She Loves school.

Happy 30th birthday Sweetie!! We had a great Day together. We went to lunch and then Mike had a daddy daughter date and took the girls to a movie. I made one of his favorite dinners and we had his favorite chocolate cake for dessert. It was a great day!

A Chair Fit for a King

Mike's Dad made this chair for Mike when he was a little boy. Now it has been passed down to jackson. What a family treasure.

Jack is walking!!!

Once he figured it out he was off and running. He now plays chasing games with us and loves it!

Each of the girls has their own planter of flowers on the deck of our new house. They have enjoyed taking care of them this summer.

WELCOME HOME!!

Most of you have been in suspense about our house. YES it is ours and we moved in at the end of May. It is quite the process making it our own. We undertook a few big projects like recess lights in the kitchen, changing some outdated light fixtures and lots of paint! We couldn't be happier and are grateful the Lord granted us this blessing!

Abby was chosen as one of two students in her Kindergarten class to do a reading at their kindergarten sing-a-long! She did GREAT!

Sorry I haven't updated this in awhile. We moved into the new house and well.... anyone who has moved knows how it goes.

Jack's first birthday

I can't believe how fast the last year has gone. Jack has managed to cut 7 teeth, learn to blow kisses, master crawling and is cruising furniture. He is such a great baby. Without gel his hair is still out of control and we all LOVE it.

We have an accepted offer, so pending inspections, this will be our new home!!!!

How he has grown

I was going to post pictures of his first tooth, then I realized he has a mouth full, so what is the point. I cannot believe how he has grown.

We will miss you Gram

Just a short tribute to my grandmother who past away this last week at the age of 94. I will miss her so much, but look forward to a joyful reunion with her someday. She was an amazing example of love, determination, and talent. Agnes Rapp Sisson 1914-2009

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA!!!

Emma had her fourth birthday two days before Christmas. She is the luckiest girls I know. She had two parties this year. One in NY wth family on her actual birthday and one with her friends here in Virginia. She has come to love animals and received her first pet for her birthday..... a fish which she named Rudy pop.
